Bozidar Pugelnik on Tuesday night opened three specialised fairs at
the Zagreb Fair.
INFO is the 30th international fair of computer technology,
INTERLIBER-EDUCA, the 21st international fair of books and
teaching aids, and INTERGRAFIKA, the 15th international fair of
graphics industry and paper industry.
The 14 fair pavilions will hold 910 exhibitors, of which 479 come
from 30 other countries.
The fairs will be open until November 14.
The most prominent exhibitors in Croatia and the world will present
achievements forwarding us into the future, bringing in state of
the art technology and most recent editions and projects for the
promotion of publishing and education, Pugelnik said at the
opening.
IBM's general director for central Europe and Russia, Dietrich
Roessner, spoke about the situation of computer achievements in the
world, with an accent on Croatia and trends in the new millennium.
Roessner stressed that Croatia is equal with any West European
country when it comes to the knowledge of its computer experts.
