Government to +invite concessions for 11 harbours with a total space of 1.56 +million square meters and approx. 4,700 moors. + Ten concessions for harbours in Umag, Pomer, Rovinj, Opatija, +Supetarska Draga, Cres, Jezera, Vodice, Split and Dubrovnik were +allotted to the ACI company. The agreement confirmed a recent decision by the Government to
invite concessions for 11 harbours with a total space of 1.56
million square meters and approx. 4,700 moors.
Ten concessions for harbours in Umag, Pomer, Rovinj, Opatija,
Supetarska Draga, Cres, Jezera, Vodice, Split and Dubrovnik were
allotted to the ACI company. The company has thus become the single
largest concessionaire for yacht harbours of national importance
with a total of approx. 3,500 moors in an area of 855,000 square
meters.
The SAS company, based in Zadar, was granted concession for Zlatna
Luka, a giant uncompleted harbour, with approx. 1,200 moors in an
area of 705,000 square meters.
Concessions for nationally important harbours are issued for terms
of 33 years, while other harbours are leased on 12 year terms.
