THE HAGUE, Oct 20 (Hina) - Officials of the International Tribunal +for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) held a two-day symposium with +attorneys from Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and FR Yugoslavia.+ The ICTY said on Tuesday that the
symposium, held of October 15 and +16, had the goal of clarifying certain misunderstandings about the +Tribunal.+ ICTY president, Gabrielle Kirk McDonald said it was important that +people from areas of the former Yugoslavia understand the efficient +investigative and legal work of the Tribunal.+ Judges, attorneys and prosecutors from the three countries held +talks with McDonald, the Tribunal's judges and representatives of +the Prosecutor's Office and Secretariat.+ Participants suggested that the ICTY should invite judges and +attorneys from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and FRY to follow the +trials in The Hague.+(hina) lml+
