ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Croatian Sabor (national parliament) Lower
House president Vlatko Pavletic on Wednesday called the 34th
session of the House for October 21.
Following last week's adoption a law on changes and amendments to
the Law on Rights and Duties of State Officials, at the next sitting
MP's are expected to adopt decisions regarding the salaries of the
President of the Republic and of the President of the Sabor.
During the two-week session, the representatives will tackle a 15-
item agenda, including eight items forwarded by the
representatives themselves.
The bench of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) proposed a
debate on the situation in agriculture, and a final bill on changes
and amendments to the Law on Croatian Radio Television.
The leaders of six opposition parties forwarded into parliamentary
procedure a bill on elections of members into parliament.
Representatives of the Croatian Pure Party of Rights (HCSP) and the
Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) proposed changes to the existent law
on elections of members into parliament.
