ZAGREB, Oct 1 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa had
talks on Thursday in Zagreb with the representatives of Bank
Austria and with the insurance company Wiener Staedtische
Allgemeine Versicherung on their activities in Croatia.
Bank Austria supervisory board president and the insurance
company's managing director Siegfried Sellitsch asked the Croatian
Prime Minister for license to be issued to his insurance company for
it to begin operating in Croatia.
Bank Austria Creditanstalt Croatia management board president
Anton Knett informed Matesa that the Wuestenrot housing savings
bank started operating on Thursday.
