In response to reporters' questions about speculations that his daughter, Asja Bebic, was in charge of payments to pop singers and entertainers who allegedly received cash personally from those funds for their participation in HDZ rallies, Bebic said on Monday that he did not have the slightest idea about that and that he did not comment on what he was not familiar with.
In response to repeated questions by reporters how come that no one in the HDZ had known about the slush funds, Bebic said, "It's not possible that no one knew. Someone knew, but I don't have enough information to comment on that publicly."
