ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) - Cooperation between Croatia and the
Stabilisation Force (SFOR) is still very good, an SFOR
representative said in Zagreb on Thursday.
SFOR was especially satisfied with the cooperation of Croatian
authorities at all levels during its operation in Rijeka, the
commander of the NATO-SFOR Zagreb Communications Zone, Fritz
Polle, said.
For more than two weeks since August 23, the port of Rijeka hosted a
roll on-roll off ship containing about 45 helicopters and 300
containers with various equipment for the US First Cavalry
Division, which replaced SFOR's First Armoured Division from the
United States in Tuzla (north-eastern Bosnia).
Major General Polle today held a meeting in Zagreb with the head of
the Office for Cooperation with the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Tomislav Vidosevic.
The Croatian armed forces have again shown a maximum level of
organisation and SFOR is very satisfied with everything that had
been going on in Rijeka in the past month, Vidosevic said.
