MOSTAR, Sept 7 (Hina) - Members of the election headquarters of the
Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) have met
with the party's municipal and canton monitors, who will follow
elections in polling stations in Croatia and those who will go to
Sarajevo to monitor the counting of absentee votes.
On Monday the HDZ BiH election headquarters released a statement
which said that while discussing several election issues, election
monitoring and vote counting, they stressed the importance
parties' monitors had in elections, the counting of votes and
preventing possible tempering by all parties involved.
The election headquarters asked the OSCE to ensure the presence of
HDZ BiH members in the Bosnian Serb republic as well.
