SARAJEVO, Aug 22 (Hina) - The screening of Michael Bay's last
Hollywood megahit "Armageddon" in Sarajevo on Friday night kicked
off the start of the Fourth International Film Festival in the
Bosnian capital
During the next 10 days Sarajevo residents and visitors will have a
chance to watch a total of 98 films produced in 19 countries,
The festival will have two main sections - one showing the latest
world production films, while the other under the title of
"Regional Programme" will feature productions made by countries in
transition.
Croatia will be represented in the festival with Lukas Nole's
"Rusko meso" ("Russian meat").
The children's section this year is being sponsored by the Walt
Disney Co., while for the first time the festival will screen a
series presenting contemporary and older Bosnian film
productions.
At the end of the festival awards will be presented by the
Association of World Film Critics for the best film in the main
programme, the best film and best camerawork in the selection of
Bosnia-Herzegovina productions, the best film in the regional
programme and the audience's choice.
