LJUBLJANA, 8 Aug (Hina) - Slovenia's electricity supply ELES on
Friday reconnected the second 400kV transmission line in the
nuclear power plant Krsko to Croatia, the Slovenian news agency STA
reported.
This step was explained as an act of "neighbourly help" in case of
additional electricity needs caused by the fires in southern
Croatia, STA said.
There has been no considerable increase in electricity usage by the
Croatian Power Supply (HEP) in the first several hours following
the reconnection, STA said.
No comment on this was available at the HEP late Friday.
