NEW KOSOVO ALBANIAN PARTY ESTABLISHED

( Editorial: --> 4183 ) PRISTINA, June 27 (Hina) - "The issue of Kosovo today is a huge and very complex national issue of the Balkans and Europe", Rexeo Qosja told Saturday the founding assembly of the New Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, a new Kosovo Albanian party. The new party was established by former members of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo leadership who did not agree with leader Ibrahim Rugova's policy. The Albanian people in the south Yugoslav province of Kosovo which has been subjected to Serbian violence and terror has finally decided to take a self-organised defence, Qosja, the new party's president, said. The party said in a political declaration that it advocates a political solution to the Kosovo crisis, but believes negotiations with Belgrade are possible only after military, police and paramilitary forces withdraw from the province and the international community takes part in the negotiations.
