BEDEKOVCINA, June 13 (Hina) - Next week Croatia will propose a
solution for the disputed Prevlaka peninsula to the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia, Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic told
a conference on Croatia and the world in Bedekovcina Friday.
Prevlaka is Croatia's southern-most tip bordering with the
Yugoslav Republic of Montenegro.
The proposal is based on international law and relevant
international documents, Granic said, adding the proposal will
also respect the inviolability of Croatian borders, Croatia's
territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Foreign Minister emphasised the proposal for Prevlaka will also
contain solutions for the demilitarisation of the peninsula, free
entry to Boka Kotorska Bay, and the establishment of a sea-border.
