TUDJMAN TO VISIT PORTUGAL

( Editorial: --> 8025 ) ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman will lead a delegation on a visit to Portugal from 6-8 June, a statement from the President's Office said Monday. They will visit the World Expo 98 in Lisbon, at which Croatia is participating for the first time among 145 countries. Croatia will present its national identity, tourism, culture and economy. In addition to attending the celebration of Croatia's national day at the exhibition on June 7, Tudjman will meet with Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio. It is expected the two presidents will discuss the advancement of bilateral relations, the peace process and trouble spots in this part of Europe, as well as Croatia's relations in regards to Euro- Atlantic integration, said the statement.
