CROATIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES FORMER US DEFENCE SECRETARY PERRY

( Editorial: --> 2184 ) ZAGREB, May 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman Thursday received William Perry, former United States Defence Secretary and envoy of the U.S. administration at today's funeral of late Croatian Defence Minister Gojko Susak. Conveying the greetings and condolences of U.S. President Bill Clinton and Defence Secretary William Cohen, Perry said he arrived at Susak's funeral as a U.S. envoy, but first and foremost as a personal friend of the late Croatian minister. The Croatian President believed the constructive cooperation and good relations between the United States and Croatia, in the building of which both Susak and Perry had taken part, would continue.
