ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - Croatian managers have asked the
Government to replace the existing uniform Value Added Tax rate of
22 per cent with several rates ranging from 0 per cent to 22 per
cent.
The Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs on Tuesday
adopted a resolution saying that the insistence on the present 22
per cent VAT rate could lead to the reduction of working places,
undesirable economic and social consequences and recession, as the
degree of solvency of economic subjects is alarming.
The resolution will be sent to the Government and National
Parliament.
