MOSTAR, March 24 (Hina) - The international community would like to
see all of the region demilitarised and not only Bosnia-
Herzegovina, the head of the regional office of the High
Representative in Mostar, Martin Garrod, told a press conference in
Mostar on Tuesday.
Garrod was commenting on an initiative by the Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman on demilitarisation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tudjman presented his initiative during his talks with the German
and French foreign ministers in Zagreb last week.
Everybody would like to see all of the region demilitarised,
possibly Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, Garrod said.
Garrod said he could not imagine only one state being
demilitarised, adding he did not see the full version of Tudjman's
proposal.
