ZAGREB, Mar 24 (Hina) - An Albanian parliamentary delegation headed
by Parliament president Skender Gjinushi Tuesday visited the
Croatian National Parliament in Zagreb, where they were received by
Parliament president Vlatko Pavletic.
Relations between Croatia and Albania are good, the two parties
concluded, but added more focus should be placed on developing a
currently unsatisfactory economic cooperation.
Gjinushi and Pavletic discussed the situation in the region and
bilateral relations, Pavletic told reporters after the talks.
Part of the talks focused on the Kosovo problem and both sides
agreed in assessing it was necessary to find an integral solution
which would contribute to stabilisation in the whole region.
The president of the Albanian parliament said Albania and Croatia
were interested in a just solution to be achieved peacefully.
The two parties also talked about connecting the Croatian port of
Rijeka with the Albanian port of Drac, establishing a Zagreb-Tirana
air route, and possibilities of business bank cooperation.
