LONDON THEATRE TO STAGE CROATIAN PRODUCTION

( Editorial: --> 0636 ) LONDON, March 18 (Hina) - The Gate Theatre in London has announced it will stage the theatre piece "Ospice" ("The Measles") - which is the first British performance of a contemporary Croatian theatre production. The work, written by Croatian author Ivan Vidic last year for Zagreb's "Gavella" theatre, will be performed from 26 March to 11 April under the direction of Rufus Norris. The piece was translated into English by Boris Boskovic. The Gate Theatre is a small theatre, specialised in staging international dramas, primarily provocative works by young writers and directors, the London theatre said.
