CROATIA WELCOMES UN-IRAQI AGREEMENT

( Editorial: --> 4511 ) ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - Croatia is pleased to learn that an agreement has been reached between the Iraqi Government and UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan by which the work of the UNSCOM will go completely unobstructed and relevant Security Council resolutions will be consistently complied with. According to a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued Wednesday, Croatia hopes the agreement will be implemented in full, without additional conditions, in order to avoid possible strains in the future and to further strengthen stability in the Gulf and eliminate the threat to international security.
