ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa on
Thursday received the Turkish Interior Minister Murat
Basesgioglu.
Also present at the meeting was Croatian Interior Minister Ivan
Penic, who together with his Turkish colleague informed the Prime
Minister about the contents of talks the two ministers had in
Zagreb.
"We had very important discussions on the joint fight against the
smuggling and trading of drugs, illegal immigration and the fight
against international terrorism," Penic said.
"Turkey and Croatia, not only in the area of security, but also in
other fields have very successful cooperation," Basesgioglu said,
emphasising that both countries had given great contributions to
the establishment of peace in the region.
The Turkish Minister gave Prime Minister Matesa an invitation to
visit Turkey.
