TUZLA, Feb 13 (Hina) - A large group of Bosniaks (Muslims) late
Thursday evening stoned three vehicles of a Swedish humanitarian
organisation carrying Bosnian Serb civilians.
The Serbs were returning from an inter-entity meeting on Croat-
Muslim Federation territory.
According to a Friday statement of the Tuzla-based office of the
International Police Task Force, the incident occurred between
Jablanica and Maglaj, near the separation zone, 120 kilometres
north of Sarajevo.
Two Bosnian Serb civilians were injured, one lightly, one
seriously, and were both transferred to the Maglaj hospital, while
the others were accompanied to the border with the Bosnian Serb
entity, IPTF spokesman Andreo Angeli said in the statement.
Prior to this incident, the same group of Bosniaks had stopped the
Swedish vehicles near Jablanica, two kilometres from the
separation zone with the Bosnian Serb entity.
They demanded that one Serb civilian, whose name has not been
mentioned, step out of the vehicle, claiming he had killed 12
civilians during the conflict in Bosnia. When their request was
denied, they blocked the passage.
Accompanied by local police, the vehicles drove on, but were again
stopped by Bosniaks near Maglaj, where the Serbs were taken for
security. The Bosniaks stoned the vehicles, injuring two
civilians.
