WASHINGTON, Feb 5 (Hina) - At the traditional National Prayer
Breakfast on Thursday, US President Bill Clinton appealed to the
world to ensure the right to freedom of religion.
This annual meeting is dedicated to the strengthening of faith in
the world and has been taking place for 46 years.
Attending are the US President, Vice President, representatives of
the US Congress and several thousand dignitaries from the United
States and the world.
Present at the breakfast were Croatian Reconstruction and
Development Minister Jure Radic and Croatian Ambassador to the
United States, Miomir Zuzul.
Radic, who arrived in Washington on Wednesday, leaves for
Pittsburgh where he will hold talks with leaders of the Croatian
Fraternity Union about the Union's possibility of investing into
the reconstruction of Vukovar.
He is then to travel to San Francisco where he will continue
negotiations with the Bechtel corporation about the construction
of the Zagreb-Dubrovnik highway.
