TOVARNIK, 21 Jan (Hina) - Experts from the Croatian Government's
Commission for Imprisoned and Missing Persons located and started
to untomb a 50m x 50m mass grave at the Catholic cemetery in Tovarnik
on Wednesday.
Supposedly, the mass grave contains the remains of 48 to 53 persons
killed in that region in 1991.
They will start exhuming the bodies on Thursday and the exhumation
should last about 10 days, said the Commission's head, Captain
Marko Milos.
It is assumed that murdered Croats are buried in several other
places in Tovarnik.
The exhumation in Tovarnik like Tuesday's and Monday's in Ilac and
Djeletovac is experiencing difficulty because of rain and cold
weather.
