VIENNA, Jan 19 (Hina) - The mixed Croatian-Austrian Commission for
Economic Cooperation held its first meeting on Monday in Vienna,
thereby starting Croatian Economy Week which lasts until 25
January.
The meeting positively assessed the changing trend in exports from
Croatia into Austria which grew by 17 per cent last year.
Croatia reported to the Austrian side about its struggles to join
international economic organisations, especially the World Trade
Organisation, and the current state of talks with member countries
of CEFTA (the Central European Free Trade Agreement).
The Austrian hosts expressed willingness to support all Croatian
efforts, especially in continuing talks with the European Union.
