VUKOVAR, 18 Jan (Hina) - Parish priest Ante Perkovic on Sunday
conducted the first post-war mass and performed the first baptism
in Borovo naselje, in Vukovar.
The mass was held at the site of the destroyed church of Our Lady of
Fatima in the presence of some ten displaced faithful.
The church was built in 1981. During attacks on Vukovar, the church
and the adjoining convent were damaged.
After the fall of Vukovar, the church and the convent were mined and
completely destroyed.
