MOSTAR, Jan 5 (Hina) - King Juan Carlos of Spain, NATO Secretary-
General Javier Solana and international High Representative Carlos
Westendorp arrived in the southern Bosnian town of Mostar shortly
after 11.00 hours on Monday.
Immediately upon arrival, King Juan Carlos laid a wreath in central
Spanish Square in honour of 18 Spanish soldiers who had died on the
UN peacekeeping mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, the guests left for Moslem-held
east Mostar.
After that, King Juan Carlos was scheduled to travel to Medjugorje
to celebrate his 60th birthday at the headquarters of the Spanish
Brigade of the NATO-led peace Stabilisation Force (SFOR).
