ZADAR, Jan 3 (Hina) - A car bomb exploded in the northern Adriatic
town of Zadar on Friday evening, damaging two cars parked nearby,
police said on Saturday.
The blast, which occurred in the town centre at 20.15 hours on
Friday, damaged five apartments and shattered windows on a nearby
shop. No one was injured.
The so far unidentified explosive device was planted under an Opel
Kadett owned by a man from Zadar, identified only as S.M., aged 35.
Police said that an investigation was under way.
