HSLS ASKS CONSTITUTIONAL COURT TO DECIDE ON LISTS OF VOTERS ON

ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - The Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) on Friday requested of the Croatian constitutional Court to warn the Croatian government and the National Directorate for State Government and Local Self-Government about illegal conduct regarding the insight into the lists of voters for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The HSLS recalled that the Government had on December 2 refused a request made by the party that lists of voters be submitted on computer discs. The Government maintained that, in line with the Law on Lists of Candidates, the lists would not be submitted to political parties. The Government also asserted that county and Zagreb city administration offices are obliged to enable members of all political parties to look at the lists of voters.
