ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and Japanese Ambassador to Croatia Keisuke Oba on Thursday signed an agreement in line with which the Japanese Government donated DM850,000 to Zagreb's Croatian National
Theatre earmarked for the purchase of audio-visual equipment. The agreement read that the Croatian Government would use the donation in line with regulations and exclusively for the purchase of equipment produced in Japan or Croatia. The donation will be realised by March 31, 2000, read the agreement. After the signing of an agreement, the Japanese Ambassador expressed satisfaction about good cultural relations between the two countries. On behalf of the Croatian Government, the Culture Ministry and the Croatian National Theatre, Biskupic thanked the Japanese Ambassador.
