ZAGREB, Dec 7 (Hina) - According to data of Croatian tourist agencies, more tourist packages for the celebration of the year 2000 on the Adriatic, have been reserved in relation to 1998. According to the agencies, between 30,000 and 40,000 guests could celebrate New Years on the Adriatic Coast. About 23,000 guests made arrangements in Istria County and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. The majority of the guests in Istria county are Italians, Slovenians and domestic guests. The majority of guests in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County are Germans, Slovenians, Austrians, Italians and domestic guests. According to expectations of the Zadar County tourist association, about 1,000 guests will spend holidays in the Zadar area, in comparison to the year before when only 450 picked Zadar as their tourist destination.
