MOSTAR, Nov 29 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) on Monday condemned the decision adopted by High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch on the replacement of 22 Bosnian officials, describing the move
as surprising and unacceptable. "Although we are aware of the enforceability of decisions adopted by the High Representative and of difficulties in implementing the General Framework Peace Agreement, we cannot accept the generalised explanations which charge elected persons on our party lists," the HDZ BiH information office said in a statement tonight. The party further states that some officials replaced in line with Petritsch's decision had already resigned from their posts (the municipal head of Prozor-Rama, Dragan Meter, Stolac Mayor Pero Pazin) and some had already been replaced within regular procedure (Capljina Mayor Kruno Kordic).
