ZAGREB, Nov 26 (Hina) - A renowned financial magazine Central European proclaimed the Privredna Bank Zagreb (PBZ) Croatia's best bank in the past ten years. The latest issue of Central European says the PBZ was quickly reformed into a
modern financial institutions and has perfected its control of expenses, the Bank said in a statement Friday. According to PBZ management board chairman Bozo Prka, in less then two years the PBZ has been restructured and is orientating its strategy towards modern forms of banking. The interest of respected European investors in the privatisation process of the Bank is best proof of this, Prka said. According to Standard&Poor's indicators, a reputable ranking institution, the PBZ has achieved best improvement in relation to banks of central Europe in the expenses and profits ratio in 1998.(hina) lml mm
