ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - At its session on Thursday, the Croatian Government adopted an activity plan for Croatia's participation at the Stability Pact Task Force on democratisation and human rights. Nine projects have been prepared
for the meeting taking place in Geneva on October 18 and 19. The Government forwarded into Parliament procedure the motions of national programmes for improving the quality of life for persons with invalidity and an education programme on human rights. The Government also gave a state guarantee for crediting the Programme of modernisation of the Split ironworks factory. The guarantee is for a EUR 16 million loan granted by two foreign banks. The Parliament has also been forwarded an agreement on a loan from the World Bank for the health system project. The loan is for US$29 million for a 15 year payment period with a five year grace period and the Libor interest rate increased

the Stability Pact Task Force on democratisation and human rights.
Nine projects have been prepared for the meeting taking place in
Geneva on October 18 and 19.
The Government forwarded into Parliament procedure the motions of
national programmes for improving the quality of life for persons
with invalidity and an education programme on human rights.
The Government also gave a state guarantee for crediting the
Programme of modernisation of the Split ironworks factory. The
guarantee is for a EUR 16 million loan granted by two foreign
banks.
The Parliament has also been forwarded an agreement on a loan from
the World Bank for the health system project. The loan is for US$29
million for a 15 year payment period with a five year grace period
and the Libor interest rate increased by 0.4 per cent for profit
(which is 6.48 per cent annually).
The Government will, through the Science Ministry, forward a formal
note of congratulations to this year's Nobel Prise winner for
economy, Robert Mandel, a great friend of Croatia who visited
Dubrovnik during the most difficult days, Finance Minister
Borislav Skegro said.
