Thursday received Ambassador James Dobbins, a special advisor to
the US President and the Secretary of State on Kosovo and the Dayton

During a discussion on the situation in the region, Dobbins
stressed Croatia's contribution to the process of stabilising the
situation in the region and implementing the Washington and Dayton
agreements.
Speaking about Croatia-United States relations, Tudjman said they
were developing positively, adding Croatia was ready to intensify
those relations, especially in the field of economy and
investments.
Dobbins welcomed Croatia's readiness to continue developing
democracy and expressed America's support for the country's
admission to the World Trade Organisation and Euro-Atlantic
integration processes.
