ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - Fortunate hunter Ivica Todoric, known as the owner of the Agrokor conglomerate, shot the most valuable deer in the history of Croatian hunting. Until Ivica Todoric, the championship belonged for a long time to
a former Yugoslav party and state official, Stane Dolanc, who is now retired in his homeland of Slovenia. Dolanc's deer, shot in 1980, according to criteria of the international hunting council, earned 245.84 points, while Todoric's trophy earned 250.36 points, the Croatian Hunting Society said Sunday. A professional hunter from New Zealand, Jim Hunter, gave the trophy 437.08 points according to Safari Club International criteria. Garjevica hunting ground rangers are hoping for the world record to be broken soon as well.
