SPLIT, Sept 22 (Hina) - Eleven Turkish Kurds who were arrested on Tuesday after having illegally entered Croatia from Bosnia-Herzegovina have been expelled and banned from entering Croatia for two years. The Kurds were arrested in
Kozice, southern Croatia, after the police stopped a van bearing Bosnian registration plates, which was driven by Petar G. (aged 22). It was established that on September 19 the Kurds had arrived on a plane from Istanbul in Sarajevo, from where they travelled further to Mostar, where Petar G. was waiting to transport them to Croatia. Criminal charges have been pressed against the driver for illegal transport of foreign nationals across the border.(hina) jn rml
