The remains of the Bosnian last king were given back to the
renovated Monastery of St. Luke yesterday when Bosnian friars
marked their day.
On this occasion, the head of Bosnian friars, Petar Andjelovic,
conducted a solemn Mass and blessed the renovated monastery.
During his sermon Andjelovic said the Franciscan community,
present in Bosnia-Herzegovina for more than 700 years, has been
preserving memories of many events in the history of that country
even since the glorious times of the Bosnian medieval kings.
Stjepan Tomasevic received the Papal crown in 1461 and this meant
that Bosnia-Herzegovina was internationally recognised at the
time.
