had worked on the improvement of bilateral relations and friendship between Croats and Hungarians until his death in 1993. He is also responsible for humanitarian and diplomatic assistance granted Croatia in the extremely difficult times when the independent Croatian state was being created. The Croatian capital's street was named after Antall under a decision of city authorities.
