The Crobex index went into the red by 3.66% coming to 1.959 points, and the specialised Crobex10 index plunged by 3.56 %, to 1,061 points.
Since the beginning of this year, the Crobex contracted by 7.16% and the Crobex10 by 8.06%.
On Tuesday morning, the regular turnover exceeded 16 million kuna, with the shares of the HT telecom being the most traded stock (HRK 5.4 million).
The price of the HT shares fell to HRK 229 , a record low since 8 September 2009.
The Petrokemija artificial fertiliser made a turnover of 1.2 million in the morning, and its price went down by 8.8% to HRK 157.
