CAKOVEC, Aug 16 (Hina) - Police in the northern region of Medimurje in Croatia located two separate plantations of Indian hemp about 120 square metres all together. A Slovenian citizen aged 22 was involved in raising Indian canapas on
this virtually inaccessible and difficult terrain, deputy chief of the Medimurje police Miljenko Mavrin told reporters on Monday. The police discovered 151 hemp plants between 1 and 2.6 metres high and which were later destroyed under the supervision of police and fire officials. This is the second largest drug plantation discovered in Croatia this year. The first was found in the Primorje Gorski Kotar county. Some 20 kilograms of cannabis could have been produced from the plantation discovered with a market value of over 150,000 kunas. on this virtually inaccessible and difficult terrain, deputy chief
of the Medimurje police Miljenko Mavrin told reporters on Monday.
