BORDER CROSSING ON DUBROVNIK-TREBINJE ROAD OPENED

DUBROVNIK/IVANJICA, Aug 6 (Hina) - A border crossing between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina was opened Friday at the Dubrovnik-Trebinje road (about seven kilometres from Dubrovnik, south Croatia). Croatian border police commissioner and a member of the Croatian side of the commission for determining border between Croatia and bosnia-Herzegovina, Stipe Kuna, said at the ceremony both countries had invested great efforts in having this border crossing opened. Deputy to the High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ralph Johnson, described the opening of the border crossing as a promising event. This is an occasion for economic activities to continue because, as he said, the Trebinje-Dubrovnik road used to be an important connection, necessary for all the people in the area.
