ZAGREB, Aug 6 (Hina) - The official opening ceremony will be the central event of the first day of the Second World Military Games, to start in Zagreb on Sunday, August 8. The ceremony will be held at Zagreb's Maksimir stadium
beginning at 8 pm. The ceremony will be opened with a review of Croatian historical units, after which soldiers-athletes from 76 countries will enter the stadium. The President of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), Colonel Gianni Gola, will address the ceremony first, after which the gathered will be addressed by the President of the International Olympic Committee, Juan Antonio Samaranch. At 8 pm, the games will be declared open by the President of the Republic and Croatian Armed Forces' Chief Commander, Franjo Tudjman.
