The 17-kilometre-long newly-constructed section, passing between Oprisavci and Velika Kopanica in Slavonski Brod-Posavina County, eastern Croatia, was built by the "Green Main Road" consortium, with 1,700 workers and 4,000 people working part-time. The section was finished almost three months before the deadline at the price of US$41.5 million. Commending Slavonia's road-builders and the prefects of four Slavonian counties, Matesa said it was the first project of this kind to have been conducted through public works and by a Croatian workforce, totally financed from the state budget.
