During excavations, traces of hearth were found, and the Krapinski
Man seems to have used fire.
One of events which will be organised in Croatia this year to mark
the 100th anniversary of this great discovery is to be an exhibition
in the facilities in Klovicevi Dvori in Zagreb which should present
Neanderthal Man as authentically as possible for the general
public, said Jakov Radovcic, the head of the organising committee
for celebrations, at a recent news conference in Zagreb.
