DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, July 12 (Hina) - A recital of verses from Iranian poetry was held in the Dominican Monastery in Dubrovnik on Sunday evening. The event was dedicated to the work of Hafiz, one of the greatest mystic poets of Iran,
while the 600th anniversary of his birth is being marked all over the world. Croatian artists, Doris Saric Kukuljica and Mise Martinovic, did recitations, being accompanied by three Iranian musicians who played authentic Iranian instruments. The event was organised by a Croatian poet and translator, Luko Paljetak. Present at the recital were Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and his Iranian counterpart Mohajerami, who is paying visit to Croatia at Biskupic's invitation.(hina) ms
