NEW INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TO START IN MOTOVUN

ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - First international film festival in the interior Istrian town of Motovun will be held between August 10 and 14. The best so called small-big films, which demonstrate different production that Hollywood and which could not be seen in the regular Croatian distribution, will be shown at the festival, director of the festival Rajko Grlic told a press conference recently. The festival includes 6 programmes and about 30 movies. The main programme contains "Happiness" by American Todd Solondz, "Run Lola Run", by German Tom Tykwer, "Central Station" by Brazilian Walter Salles, "Children of Heaven" by Iranian Majida Majidija, and "Mifune" by Danish Sorena Kragha-Jacobsen. All movies received awards at film festivals in Berlin, Sundance, Toronto, and Montreal.
