PRISTINA, June 29 (Hina) - NATO-led peace-keepers in Kosovo (KFOR) are doing their best to return life in Kosovo back to normal. KFOR troops have so far arrested about 200 perpetrators who took part in looting and other incidents, a
spokesman for KFOR said in Pristina on Tuesday. He told a press conference that civilian judiciary was being currently formed in Kosovo and that this process should be completed in next two weeks. First judges have taken oaths before a special envoy of the UN, Sergio Vieiro de Mello. The KFOR spokesman added the disarmament of Kosovo Liberation Army was proceeding well. At 40 sites almost 500 pieces of various arms have been collected, whereas some KLA fighters are going home, particularly in the north of Kosovo. During last night's action of KFOR a person was killed. Neither the identity of the person nor circumstances of the incident have been released.(hina) ms
