ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Eight Croatian cadets chosen to continue their education at United States military academies were presented in Zagreb on Monday. Congratulating the cadets, Croatian army chief-of-staff Davor Domazet said the
defence of the homeland was one of the most honourable occupations for which "eight of our best cadets will be trained at the best military academies." The basic principles of the Croatian army are knowledge and discipline, Domazet said, adding after training in the U.S., the Croatian cadets will be the backbone of the Croatian armed force, who in their future work will know how to defend national interests and promote patriotism. The eight cadets were also addressed by military envoy Lt. Col. John Adams on behalf of the U.S. ambassador to Croatia.
