ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Zagreb police on Thursday filed charges against the editor-in-chief of the Nacional weekly, Ivo Pukanic, for suspicion of having committed the crime of publishing a state or military secret, police said.
Pukanic is charged for having published parts of a state or military secret in an article of June 2, which ran under the heading "SZUP (Agency for the Protection of Constitutional Order) Rigged the Soccer Championships Under (President) Tudjman's Orders". Deputy commissioner Josip Begovic said the charges were filed with the Zagreb Municipal State Attorney's Office through regular coursers, and Pukanic will not be apprehended.(hina) lml
