Colonel Hockman said the six SFOR soldiers together with their vehicle were transferred to Yugoslav territory and were held there for questioning for more than eight hours, after which they were released. "Some of the soldiers were physically abused and received minor injuries", Hockman said. He stressed that this incursion by the Yugoslav army into Bosnian territory was a violation of territorial sovereignty and also of the Dayton accord. The SFOR official believes that a large portion of responsibility for the incident lies with Republika Srpska because the Bosnian Serb authorities are responsible for monitoring the state border in that section of the country, which is part of the Bosnian Serb entity. The authorities in Republika Srpska were informed of the incident as was the headquarters of their military component. (hina) sp/rml
